CEO and Cofounder
Dom is an experienced marketing, engineering and management veteran with a passion for technology and innovation. As a pioneer of online marketing and website management, he helped revolutionize the way that demand generation and lead management can be done.
Dom has comprehensive marketing experience at some of the Valley's largest technology companies in a range of field marketing, product marketing and corporate marketing. Before getting into marketing, Dom spent 8 years in High-Tech sales and pre-sales in Silicon Valley and various consulting projects in Europe.
Dom holds a Bachelor of Science in Physics with Electronics from the University of Exeter in England.
Dom is also a member of the Board of Directors.
ERIK BOWER
President, VP of Products & Operations, Cofounder
Erik Bower oversees the marketing, operations, development, and product roadmap management for Marketbright.
Erik Bower brings over 12 years of experience running large enterprise marketing operations groups. As a marketing operations professional, Erik has generated millions of leads through thousands of marketing campaigns for some of today's largest technology companies.
Before he began his technology career, Erik worked in the financial industry as an OTC stock trader, a floor broker, and a commodities trader. He also lived four years abroad and taught English in Japan, Czech Republic, and Brazil.
Erik holds a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Wisconsin, Madison.
Erik is also a member of the Board of Directors.
EDWARD JIANG
Director of Product Development
Edward joined Marketbright in 2009 and brought in more than 14 years of IT project research, development and management experience. Before he joined Marketbright, Edward was a senior development lead with Microsoft and helped build the very first development team in the Far East Development Center of Microsoft Business Platform Division. He also delivered one of the most essential data programmability platforms for Microsoft Windows Vista and Microsoft Windows 7, including the XML library that empowers AJAX and Web 2.0 technology. Before Edward joined Microsoft, he had led different teams working on several research and development projects for Oracle Corporation for more than 9 years and held several patents in the United States in the area of business intelligence and reporting. Edward also served as a member of W3C XSL Working Group representing his former companies and helped designed the XSLT 2.1 and XSL-FO 2.0 specification.
Edward holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree from the Jiao Tong University, Shanghai, China.
CHERYL SMITH
Director of Operations
Cheryl oversees the account management team and brings 16 years experience in project management to Marketbright. As a proven client relationship manager, Cheryl has the ability to manage multiple key accounts and large-scale projects simultaneously. Cheryl’s experience ranges from high profile technical clients, to association management and managing large scale events.
Prior to her current position, Cheryl was responsible for the strategic planning, direction and execution of global meetings, conferences, and incentive events for her clients.
Cheryl holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from San Jose State University, California.
MARLENE SUMMERS
Director of Support and Release Operations
Marlene is a PMI certified project manager with extensive experience in enterprise software support, marketing and product development. She has been recognized for strong leadership skills, innovation, and strategic planning in bringing new products, solutions and applications from concept to launch.
Marlene planned to pursue an academic career in the field of mathematics but was quickly lurked into computer science when she developed an interest in website development. She began her professional career as a developer for z/OS mainframe systems and was quickly promoted to a team leader, release manager and program manager. Her industry areas of expertise include Software-As-A-Service (SaaS), online commerce, virtualization, supply chain management, banking, retail and consumer product goods.
Her experience at major corporations such as IBM, Microsoft and VMware earned her the reputation of being able to Œdo it all¹ from managing projects, coordinating global teams, writing technical specifications, delivering presentations, executing test scripts and developing code.
Marlene holds two patents and three publications in the area of multidimensional database modeling. She obtained a degree with high honors in Computer Science and minor in Applied Mathematics from Colgate University in Hamilton, New York.
